They always have great service. It's a convenient stop for ice cream, cold drinks, coffee, candy and snacks. They even serve lunch! We never go to Winthrop but that we stop at Sheri's Sweet Shoppe!
Amazing sweets. We got the English Toffee. Normally I am not a fan of toffee, but I totally recommend getting this. Also, it looks like the owner makes a lot of the candy herself.
Love this place. You can watch them make candy. They have good varieties of quality I've cream. Their cinnamon rolls are outstanding. And when you get full you can play miniature golf until you're hungry again.
Holy cow this place is dangerous. It's loaded with virtually every type of candy you can imagine and tons that you didn't even know existed! Chocolate covered bacon? Check. Did you want that in milk chocolate or dark chocolate? These are the types of decisions that I love making! We left with some seafoam, salt caramel, English toffee, and chocolate covered bacon. As you can imagine, these items didn't last very long. Everything that we had was top-notch!
The ice cream shop at Sheri's is a required stop every time we're in Winthrop, which is fairly often. The black licorice ice cream is the best I've had but beware... It'll turn your mouth black and your toilet green. Totally worth it, however. Also, the candy and chocolate selection is great and you'll find something for everyone.
