The room and grounds were nice at this hotel. This 1 star review is solely for the customer service we received here. When checking in, the man at the desk barely glanced up when we arrived, and continued talking on the phone. He didn't make eye contact or indicate in anyway we were standing in front of him. When he hung up, he simply said "yeah?" then proceeded to sigh loudly when the phone rang and then answered it- ignoring us again. What followed was the worst experience checking into a hotel I've had, include motel 8's I've stayed in. The room we wanted with a river view had been given away (despite booking that specific room months before) and we were given another room without an apology or explanation.
I wouldn't recommend this place at all, based entirely on the customer service. Spend your money at a business that appreciates you being there.
The property was amazing!! Yhe room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Beautifully kept grounds. Right next to the river. Peaceful location. I would definitely stay again.
Staff is always friendly, with great services. The river float trips are great fun in the summer, and there is lots of room for dogs to play. Perfect location near town and on the bank of the Methow river.
Incredible room at a great price, wonderful folks, right on the river in a fabulous town. Great for traveling with our large dog, just call ahead and talk with them. Not to be missed: if you're considering booking here, stop looking and do it!
After we had paid, he flung the keys across the desk at us, without giving us a rundown of amenities, or even where our room was located. Aparently the only information taking they have about whether you've paid or not is a note tacked to a board next to the computer, so he also had no information about the price discrepancy I brought to his attention after he had run my card (he didn't tell me the price before hand as he was shouting into the phone at a coworker.
We love this place. For so many reasons. But you won't. So leave it to us.
