I loved it here. It was clean quiet and peaceful. The river out back was really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to visit the town, I'd recommend bringing bicycles so you can leave your car at the Virginian and bike in slowly. It's a bit too far for walking.
Good prices, but you get what you pay for. Thin walls, no phone in room, pancake flat pillows, can't see the river front river front rooms because of brush overgrowth. Rooms in river front lodge ate very dark. Old school tvs. No swimming pool.
Very fun rustic place. Clean. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Cute cabins!
So impressed with the quality of accommodations and the affordable rates! Very comfortable rooms with rustic atmosphere. Way better than any chain hotel!
We absolutely love staying at this motel. If you want a fridge and microwave in your room, you have to request the room that has them. Which we do. They also have A/C, lots of towels, clean sheets and bathrooms. The staff is so friendly. The continental breakfast is the best I've ever seen. They have a huge family room with ping pong, board games, toys for kids. They love having kiddos around. Basketball, volleyball. Our room on the top floor has a beautiful river view.
Clean rooms, lowest rates in the area, Awesome staff, continental breakfast They even have keys available when the office is closed, just stop in the office in the morning and take care of your bill.
